Gabrielle (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker in the Washington DC metropolitan area (lovingly known as the DMV). She is the Owner and Principal Consultant at Diasporic Healing LLC, where she is an individual therapy provider and is also available for consultations and trainings.

Gabrielle has been facilitating workshops and conversations around mental health and wellness for about 20 years. Over the last decade, her social work experience includes care and services across healthcare and community organization settings. However, most know her for her work with Black immigrants and for her co-foundership and leadership at UndocuBlack Network.

Gabrielle is passionate about mental health and wellness and health equity, with a particular interest in resource access and development, among folks from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. In addition to being a Senior Fellow through the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity (where she was a 2020 Fellow and has served in coaching and mentoring roles since her fellowship experience), Gabrielle is the author of two mental health publications. Both publications - The UndocuBlack Guide for Mental Wellness Specialists and The Alive and Well Discussion Series facilitator's manual - were created to increase access to mental health supports for undocumented Black immigrants and their networks.

Gabrielle is lovingly known as the person who writes things down and connects the invisible dots. She enjoys holding space and supporting her clients, whether in therapy or in consultation, in connecting with their strengths, their vulnerabilities, their values, and their most unapologetic selves.
